Most teachers use a direct approach to get students to do things. For instance, we tell our students to do or not to do something. This approach often creates tension and resistance. Rather than generating resistance, "Language Patterns of Influence" helps us to communicate and to convince others the way they want to be convinced. This workshops aims to allow teachers to:

  • Pace another person's experience and re-direct this internal representation, state and thus behavior
  • Use artfully vague language that creates new Deletions, Distortions and Generalizations to shift a person into a new model of reality
