By the time they graduate, they’ll be operating in a radically different environment, holding jobs that do not yet exist, using technologies that haven't yet been invented, in order to solve problems we don't even realize are problems yet.

Reframing and The Power of Influence

The ability to influence is a key asset that goes beyond communication and rapport-building. It allows a person to handle difficult situations and personalities, understand and navigate through office politics and even influence the other party to buy an idea or product.

This program will impart powerful communication and influencing techniques to give students practical handles when facing sensitive and confrontational situations in personal and working life.

Project & Event Management

Projects & event management have become more than the mainstay in a student leader's journey. They have become, at some junctures, avenues of evaluation, and at others, entry requirements and benchmarks. Education today necessitates a student has the leadership qualities to handle, plan and execute projects of varying complexities and forms.

Problem-Solving and Decision-Making

Whether within the constraints of the school environment, at home, or in their future career arena, problems that bid solutions will arise. While a problem like one encountered in Mathematics class has standard steps that can be undertaken towards achieving a solution, real life problems and challenges aren't quite as simple to handle. Sometimes, one needs to think systematically, logically; at other times radically, creatively.

This Problem Solving, Decision-Making Workshop aims to equip student leaders with the necessary tools to deal with the myriad problems that will come their way. Rather than focusing on the be-all-and-end-all solution, this workshop concentrates on teaching analysis and appraisal skills in dealing with the problem state so as to allow them to explore the varied possibilities towards handling problems in a creative, effective and efficient manner.

The world is becoming fiercely competitive. The lifespan of a company, product or a career have been severely reduced. Those who survive and thrive in the new economy are those that can continually create and innovate in their jobs and businesses.

Beyond equipping our student leaders with knowledge and professional qualifications, it is essential to build in our students the skill set of creative thinking and innovation.

Like any other skill, creativity can be learned and acquired through a stimulating environment and through the application of proven tools and strategies. This program will open students' minds to the importance of creative thinking and to help them to begin to build their creativity muscle!
